Excelsior (Kerr Stuart built 1908), is towed out of the shed and it's fire is lit.

Superior (Kerr Stuart built 1920), remains in the shed having repairs carried out to the piston rod to cross-head joint.

Excelsior takes the now repaired Superior to the coal siding.

Having left Superior at the station to raise steam, Excelsior couples up to the train.
