Forthcoming Exhibitions and Shows

These are the final arrangements for "Large Scale Model Rail"
Dates - Saturday & Sunday, 20/21 March 2010
Venue - Warwickshire Exhibition Centre. Fosse Way, Leamington Spa, CV31 1XN.
Opening Times - Saturday 10am – 5pm. Sunday 10am – 4pm

The arrangements for the transport of Ridgmont are as follows:
Friday 19th March
2.30pm Eaton Bray Collect/Load Ridgmont
3.00pm Drive to Warwick Exh. Centre
4.30pm Build Up Ridgmont
5.30pm Leave Venue
Saturday 20th
8.30am Complete Build
Sunday 21st
10.00am Show Opens
4.00pm Breakdown/Load Ridgmont
5.00pm Leave Show
*6.30pm Eaton Bray Unload/Store Ridgmont
* Note: Due to a prior booking we cannot access the Hall on Monday so we must return Ridgmont on the Sunday.

The names of the operators for the Large Scale Show have been sent to the organisers, I hope to have the exhibition Passes in time for the March meeting. If they don´t arrive then you can collect them on the Friday or I will post them on to you.

Dates - Saturday 10 April 2010
Venue - Stoneleigh Park, Exhibition Centre. Coventry, Warwickshire, CV8 2LZ
Opening Times - Saturday 10.30am – 5pm

The arrangements for the transport of Ridgmont are as follows:

The names of the 10 operators for the Show have been sent to the Association, I should have all relevant Passes and Parking Permits by our April meeting on the 4th. The named operators will have access to the Hall before the show opens to complete the preparation of Ridgmont. If you would like to run on Ridgmont you still can, unfortunately you will not be allowed into the hall until the show opens and you will need to buy a ticket, either in advance or on the door.


Garden Meeting

So far we have two garden meetings in the diary for this year, they are as follows:

9 May - Steam on Somesay Island, Martin Shrubsole will be hosting a Garden Meeting at Wing Buckinghamshire. Full details can be found on the diary page on the BAGS Web Site or contact Martin.

25 June - Cut-Throat Wood Railway, Pete Newman is planning an evening running session on Friday 25th June, starting at 6pm, running until late. Full details can be found on the diary page on the BAGS Web Site or contact Pete.

Southern Federation of Model Engineers Societies
Will be holding their AGM on Saturday 13 March, starting at 2pm, the event is being held at:
